Description
AlfaPort is a controlled sand screen with SSD that allows switching the inflow mode through the sand screen using a special sliding switching clutch.
AlfaPort - includes a two-position switching clutch, specially designed for sand screen control. The device is controlled using a special tool that is run into the well to switch the port to the required position. Combined with wire-wrapped sand screens, this device provides a complete controllable sand screen solution. The AlfaPort valve can be equipped with fittings of various diameters to provide the required inflow mode through the controlled sand screen device. Operational decisions on switching AlfaPort devices can be made based on PGI research data, for example, using multi-sensor PLT equipment. Another option for making a decision on the management of AlfaPort devices is the use of monitoring data using the technology of chemical tracers.
