Hydromechanical packer

Hydromechanical packer is designed for abhesion and high-quality isolation of open hole intervals (or casing) of wells during various technological operations, including multistage hydraulic fracturing (MHF).

To actuate the hydraulic drive of the packer assembly, an overpressure is created in the liner pipes in accordance with the required parameters (subject to the hydrostatic equilibrium of fluids in the casing and annular space of the running liner). When the set pressure is reached, the shear screws are destroyed and the cuff is compressed. After the pressure is released, the lock prevents the hydraulic actuator from returning to its original position, thereby the device is in the activated operating position, providing zonal isolation of the overlapped interval.
