• Preliminary well performance modelling for various completion systems. Comparative analysis of completion schemes.
• Justification of field testing at the field
• Interpretation of tracer data to determine inflow profile and water breakthrough zones.
• Recommendations for completion systems for solving specific field development problems.
• Preliminary well design to justify the number of zones, the number of controlled filters.
• Selection of the size of filters according to the mechanical impurities granulometry.
• Analysis of WLD results for interval staking (packer and filter placement). Coordination of the placement and division into intervals with the Customer's departments.
• Hydraulic calculations of completion systems for specific requirements of the Customer:
  • alignment of the inflow profile (injectability) or depression profile (repression)
  • point-in-time calculations to analyse water and gas breakthroughs.
• Drawing up a detailed completion scheme taking into account the existing equipment on the well.
• Simulation of liner running to bottom and recommendations for running equipment.
• Calculation of the economic effect of using autonomous inflow control devices for wells in conditions of high water cut and in areas of potential water or gas breakthrough.
• Working out scenarios for well operation in conditions of water or gas breakthrough.
• Follow on support of well operation to optimize field development:
  • transferring to another well operation mode
  • forecasts for opening / closing certain valves
  • analyse of water and gas breakthroughs.

Alfa Horizont also provides design and engineering calculations for modelling well operation in specific geophysical conditions of the Customer's field. The purpose of this work is to develop recommendations for choosing a completion system layout to improve well performance.

General scheme for performing work within the framework of this service includes the following stages:

• Analysis of hydrodynamic and geological data of the reservoir model for the development of the completion design.
• Modeling the operation of a candidate well with the installation of inflow control devices (ICD).
• Calculation of packers and filters placement and division of the well into intervals based on drilling data.
• Hydraulic calculations of completion systems for specific requirements of the Customer.
• Modelling of power loads on the equipment during running the liner to the bottom.
