Laboratory
Alfa Horizont Laboratory for testing down-hole equipment is a production subdivision of the company.
The main purpose of the laboratory is to carry out certification tests of equipment in order to confirm the quality of their implement. In addition to this task, the laboratory performs special tests of equipment by the Customers’ request. A set of tests is implemented using methods according to the standards of international quality systems, which allows to check the unique strength and filtration characteristics of well equipment. The laboratory works in cooperation with foreign and domestic scientific and technical centres.
The main tasks carried by the scientific and technical laboratory:
Conducting certification testing of equipment in order to confirm the quality of their pursuance, performing equipment tests by the Customers’ request.
Compliance with the methods built according to the standards of international quality systems. Testing the unique strength and filtration characteristics of down-hole equipment.
Cooperation with major domestic and foreign scientific and technical centres.
The advantage of laboratory work
List of tests held by the laboratory:
- Laser-optical control of slotted gaps
- Strength tests of filters for mechanical tensile, bending and torsional forces
- Filter integrity tests: shear of the closing end rings, separation of the winding wire
- Sand filtration quality and filter permeability tests under various down-hole conditions
- Erosion and corrosion tests
